Disappointed with the power metal vocals on the second to last song on NLNM...they are not at all up to the high standard set by their spiritual predecessors on Never Good Enough For You and So Pretty, So Plastic...Other than that, the two albums fucking rock.

I'm not at all surprised by the new sound. Having met both bands last year and talked with the guys in The Demonstration at some length about their musical interests, I figured the albums would be less in-your-face brutality than previous CDs but I didn't expect this at all. Everything is well produced as always, thanks to Jamie King and Matt, but all in all the albums feel kind of put together and miss the old KWD feel.

Although, Hell to Pay is much more like earlier KWD than NLNM is.

the demonstration kicks ass. INHALING THE BREATH OF A BULLET kicked ass. KWD is fun, but this new stuff, sadly enough, is only fun when i'm drunk. I've tried so hard to enjoy it. I'll be spending my days back on the very first cd unless some girl putting this in tells me it makes her very very horny.

I definitely know alot of bands who aren't progressing anywhere near as well as KWD or The Demonstration, regardless of how I personally feel about the new stuff.
